Got my Gilson dash in....

My Gilson SSS dash finally arrived a couple weeeks ago. I was a bit discouraged when it arrived, because for some reason I was expecting it to just bolt in place..... I did a thread on the 510 Realm on how I managed to overcome the fitment issues, but overall it is a pretty nice piece. After fitting...

Re: Another site update coming

lol... It took a bit longer than expected, but having figured out how to do it after the php update, it went pretty smoothly. It is a kind of scary process though. You have to delete all but 4 folders on the site before you can upload the new revision. There may be an issue with exif function after ...

Another site update coming

Two days after finishing the php update and sweating bullets to get our site running again, I get notice that the phpBB software has also been updated and I need to update our site...... I am checking to be sure the new release is stable, but will likely do the upgrade this weekend. During the updat...

Re: Posting video clips, moves and other media

Ken is definately a scary dude. I am sure they do several takes on his videos to do tire changes though. Some of his videos like in SanFracisco or London must take a lot of planning and sponsor cash to get done, but you have to wonder if they really knew what he had planned before signing the contra...

Posting video clips, movies and other media

I was asked if it is possible to post video clips with the .mov extension to forum posts. It had been a while since I reviewed this subject. The board can not directly display media files such as .mov, but we have an extension installed that can host media files from many different sites. The sites ...

Re: New 350Z Aluminum Belly Pan

Those scrapes on the bottom pan are likely courtesy of that final wash on the road to Bagdad. There was quite a bit of gravel piled between the tracks last year. I think several people drug bottom a bit there. That pan is nice.

Re: PHP update....

Thanks guys... Certainly not good at this, but I stayed at it until I finally got everything working again. I have updated and activated all the modifications that we had in the past with the exception of the Exif (photo rotation) and the announcement bar. I'm not sure that we need the Exif package ...

Re: PHP update....

Update.... I think we are in the clear now. I have the board software updated to the current version, and have done the upgrade to the PHP version. There are a couple of extensions that are still down, but I think I can get things back to normal soon. Let me know if you find any major issues. -Guy

Re: PHP update....

So... The site php update from version 7.2 to version 7.4 did not go well. It appears that the software we are using ( phpBB version 3.2.5 ) is not fully compatible with the php version 7.4 that we need to upgrade to. PHP is the hypertext processor that our web site software is based on, and the old...
