Guess I will start this back up....

Installed the engine and transmission again today. Looking specifically at caster/camber angles, so I also attached the LCA and strut for the time being. Thinking I might have to go back to the drawing board on this part of the project to reduce the caster angle.

What have you done with the front suspension that it has increased the caster so much?

I'm fabbing my own cross member, and got the center point for the LCA too far forward. I will need to make some adjustment to it is all. I want about 6 degrees caster when I'm done.

Nice. Are you going with rack and pinion then? If so what rack are you using?

I'm using a Toyota MR2 rack. It will probably some time this fall before I get back on it though. We are moving our shop, and won't be done until late August.

Yesterday and today I swapped out the 5-speed in my 240Z, single handedly. Had to get creative to do it without a lift or any help lifting the transmission up and getting it lined up. Still have a few minor things to button up but no more than about 60 minutes worth.

ah dang. I was hoping you would wait a couple weeks and I could have given you a hand. No problem though. Glad you got it in there. Sounds like everything went well, Good Job!!
