Thanks Duffman. This one is so far proving to be much easier than the 620.

Like those smaller wheels/tires with it, maybe drop it down a little lower?

Agree, a little lower stance would be an improvement.

Well a few nice surprises today after charging the battery. My horn works, all the lights except the headlights work, and the car cranks over. I'll need to buy a new ignition cylinder and keys. No keys came with the car, so I'm using a screwdriver right now turn the switch. Tomorrow I'll be able to check to see if I'm getting spark, and if the mechanical fuel pump works.

Brought home my rolling dollies to get the car off the ground to work underneath a little easier and be able to turn the car around by myself in the garage. didn't get a chance to check for spark today, maybe tomorrow. Finding some interesting added equipment on the car that I am at a loss to explain.

I have had good experience with Downtown Locksmith in Phoenix. You should be able to drop off your cylinders and have keys made for them.

So, I've got a bit of a conundrum I'd like some input on. I'm finding lots of fun wiring repairs that need to be made on this car due to critter chewing, and a past inept owner. The previous owner went crazy with quick lock connectors, adding all manner of "accessories," (which I am slowly getting rid of). So... should I just cut off all the add on wires and leave the quick lock connectors in place, or remove them and repair the wiring with bullet connectors or shrink/solder butt connectors? Access will be a problem on some of them.

I couldn't decide at first whether to keep all the emissions stuff on the car intact, since it was so complete, but I had to remove it to gain access to the carburetor and other stuff to get it running. I ended up removing it over the last 2 days. For the time being I'm keeping all the pieces, but doubt if I'll put it all back on.

I agree, Randy, keep it somewhere, but don't plan on reinstalling!
